Grant up to R2.5 million (blended)

Blended finance support for registered co-operative enterprises. The grant portion is capped at R2.5 million for qualifying activities. Priority is given to co-operatives owned by women, youth, and people with disabilities in rural, township, and peri-urban areas.

R250 000 to R75 million

Development finance and equity funding for black-owned and black-managed businesses across all sectors. Offers a range of instruments including equity, quasi-equity, loans, and franchising finance. Prioritises businesses that expand black economic participation and create sustainable employment.

R50 000 to R10 million

Development finance and commercial loans for Black-owned SMMEs. Targets women, rural, and township entrepreneurs - no upper age cap. The majority of the portfolio is non-youth, confirming over-35 entrepreneurs are primary beneficiaries.

R1 million to R30 million

IDC has earmarked approximately R9 billion to invest in women-led businesses. The fund supports women entrepreneurs across sectors with concessional finance, equity, and blended funding instruments.
