Funding amount
R50 000 to R3 million
Dedicated blended finance support for small and micro manufacturing enterprises. Covers machinery, equipment, raw materials, and working capital. Specifically targets light manufacturing, agro-processing, clothing and textiles, and township manufacturing businesses. Part of DSBD's 2026/27 expanded SEDFA mandate.
Who qualifies
South African-owned manufacturing SMME. Annual turnover not exceeding R5 million for micro/small tier. Must manufacture or process a product (not purely trading or retail). Priority for women, youth, disability, and township/rural businesses. Apply through nearest SEDFA regional office or SEDA centre.
What to prepare
Have these ready before you apply.
- CIPC registration certificate
- SARS tax compliance certificate
- Business plan including production plan
- Bank statements (3–6 months)
- Quotations for machinery or equipment
- B-BBEE certificate or affidavit
- ID documents of all directors/members
